About The Position

The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication across teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn. The role will support the Precision Medicine Team, including Pharma Services and AiDx projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications, or related field
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira, MS Project)
  • Familiarity with project documentation and reporting
  • Preference given to applicants currently residing in New Mexico
  • Able to consistently meet deadlines
  • Able to keep project tasks on track
  • Able to communicate clearly and proactively
  • Skilled in growing independence and confidence in managing small projects
  • Able to build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Coordinate project activities and work with project leads to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Track project progress, risks, and issues; escalate when needed
  • Prepare project and regulatory documentation, reports, and meeting notes
  • Support communication between stakeholders, team members, and leadership
  • Help manage project resources, budgets, and procurement activities
  • Participate in project meetings and follow up on action items
  • Contribute to process improvements and project management best practices
  • Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
