The Precision Medicine Navigator serves as a liaison between the pathologists and the clinical care team to promote seamless transition from the patient’s diagnosis to appropriate treatment. Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of laboratory services provided by the precision medicine program. They work as part of the Precision Medicine Initiative to send out, track, report, and enter data for molecular testing. Navigators coordinate pathology consults and clinical trial send outs as well as prepping for multidisciplinary planning conferences.
