About The Position

IB Abel is seeking an Associate Project Accountant responsible for all accounting and administrative duties related to their assigned projects. This role provides support to the Project Accountant Team with various tasks such as payroll, billing, and other accounting-related tasks. Requirements

Associate degree or higher, Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project accountant type role or similar position.
Office experience in a fast paced environment.
Experience with job budgeting and analysis.
Experience with high volume payroll and/or invoicing.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, accounting software and databases (Vista Viewpoint desirable).
A “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Efficient and accurate data entry.
Local to York, Pennsylvania with occasional travel to other offices or offsite meetings (flexibility to work from home when appropriate).

Nice To Haves

Experience in the construction field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Payroll Entry/Verification if applicable.
Push Jobs from ProjectGo and setup within Vista.
Process and track all weekly certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects.
Collect, track, and manage payrolls from subcontractor on prevailing wage projects.
Update weekly billing spreadsheet for Project Accountants for monitoring of job billing completeness.
Provide Project Accountants with assistance on billing, document management, and other various administrative tasks as needed.
Assist with PO closings.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
