Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area
  • Three (3) years of the following experience: Experience developing and managing projects, promotional events or campaigns
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic communication or marketing planning and budget development experience

Responsibilities

  • Implementing project plan activities and facilitating coordination across internal and external teams for assigned programs with consistent and effective communication with project leadership.
  • Establishes and coordinates project timelines with Senior Program lead, and responsible for managing the development and distribution of culturally-relevant patient education resources.
  • Responsible for assigned project tracking and reporting including patient education programming.
  • Responsible for developing and retaining knowledge base in hypertension, obsesity, and Cardiovascular-Kidney Metabolic Syndrome.
  • Collaborates with assigned marketing and communications team to develop and distribute patient project materials, collateral, and associated marketing/communications plans.
  • Executes content creation, related science review, and editorial review.
  • Establishes project approval and distribution plans which include tracking, evaluating and reporting on any ROI valuation to sponsors or alliance partners.
  • Coordinates with internal American Heart Association departments and external vendors and patient advisory group members, on assigned projects.
  • Develops, monitors, reviews, and tracks budget and timelines associated with assigned projects.
  • Develops knowledge base in assigned portfolios.
  • Maintains effective communication with project leadership and teams to ensure project status and issues are known and addressed.
