About The Position

The College of Education and the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Research seeks a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty member for the Counseling Psychology program, beginning August 17, 2026. The Counseling Psychology program is APA-accredited and emphasizes the development of professional competencies, a balanced scientist-practitioner training model, and the preparation of graduates for a wide variety of clinical and academic settings. The Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Research and the College of Education are not currently offering any sponsorships for this position.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Demonstrated record of scholarly productivity (research and grants).
  • Experience in teaching graduate-level courses.
  • Commitment to a scientist-practitioner training model.
  • Ability to supervise graduate students.
  • Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities
