About The Position
This is an attending physician/associate/professor of clinical psychiatry position that involves program administration, provision of clinical care, supervision of residents, and education of students and residents in psychiatry.
Requirements
- MD Degree
- Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
- Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
- Must be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee an interdisciplinary team of clinicians providing both inpatient and outpatient care in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program.
- Attending physician on adult inpatient psychiatric unit, consultation-liaison service and in outpatient clinic.
- Supervise residents on inpatient, outpatient, and CL services.
- Serve as on call attending in rotation with other adult attending physicians.
- Teach medical students and residents both on clinical rotations and in didactics.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
