This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. The Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies will be responsible for instructing cadets in Aerospace Studies in accordance with AFROTC curriculum guidance, academic syllabi, and Department of the Air Force training requirements. This includes teaching cadets about Air Force organizational structure, mission, doctrine, leadership, customs and courtesies, operations, tactics, techniques, procedures, regulations, and policies. The role involves conducting classroom, laboratory, off-site, and experiential training, evaluating student performance, and supporting leadership laboratory activities and cadet development events. Additionally, the position supports Professional Military Training, Professional Development Training, and physical fitness programs, as well as administering the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) and preparing cadets for Field Training. Cadet administration, personnel support, resource management, operational support, and recruiting/outreach activities are also key components of this role. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing instructional effectiveness and operational support to identify areas for enhancement.
