About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center- Department of Family Medicine, Memphis, seeks a full-time non-tenure Associate Professor. Faculty are expected to support clinical operations, engage in academic programming, and participate in service initiatives that align with departmental and institutional priorities.
Requirements
- MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency program
- Experience in clinical practice and teaching
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to learner education and patient care in an academic setting
- Must be eligible for or hold an unrestricted physician license in the State of Tennessee
- Maintain board certification in Family Medicine
Responsibilities
- Delivering patient care consistent with departmental practice standards
- Participating in the education of medical students, residents, and other learners
- Contributing to departmental and institutional service activities
