About The Position

This full-time academic role combines clinical care, teaching, and research within a collaborative health system. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to support the institutional clinical, educational, and research missions. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive pediatric endocrinology care across inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and leading the development of a clinical and/or basic research program within the Division of Endocrinology.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an LCME or COCA accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted State of Texas Physician License.
• Current U.S. DEA Practitioner registration.
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.
• Demonstrated clinical and/or basic science research productivity.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of post-fellowship clinical experience in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Prior academic experience in resident and medical student education.
• Current transferable funded research.
