About The Position

Snyk is seeking an Associate Product Engineer for its Evo unit, a dedicated team focused on building the future of AI-native security. This role is described as a "hacker-strategist" position, serving as a bridge between Snyk's AI security platform and the emerging AI security market. The role involves engineering the customer feedback loop through automation, scaling outbound PM activities using agentic frameworks and app generators, driving product-led growth via code by implementing telemetry and self-serve onboarding, building "product machinery" with AI tools for rapid prototyping, and shaping the go-to-market strategy in partnership with Evo leadership.

Requirements

  • A recent degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Ability to write production-ready code in Python or TypeScript.
  • A portfolio of projects demonstrating ability to build in the AI era.
  • Experience using agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI) or modern deployment platforms (e.g., Vercel, Replit).
  • Commercial Acumen: Deep interest in the intersection of technical architecture and revenue growth.
  • Radical Autonomy: Proactively identify and build tools to fix process friction points.
  • Communication Mastery: Ability to communicate technical concepts to AI researchers and pricing models to Chief Revenue Officers.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer the Customer Feedback Loop: Build automation to identify the right partners, ingest their technical requirements, and synthesize them into actionable code-level priorities.
  • Scale the Outbound Engine: Use agentic frameworks and app generators to automate competitive intelligence gathering and create technical sales-enablement tools.
  • Drive Product-Led Growth via Code: Implement telemetry, self-serve onboarding triggers, and usage-based pricing logic for Evo's scaling.
  • Build the "Product Machinery": Utilize modern AI tools (Cursor, agent builders, LLM APIs) to prototype new features and internal tools for the Evo team.
  • Shape the GTM and Product Approach: Partner with Evo leadership to influence pricing, packaging, and positioning.
