About The Position

As an Associate Product Manager you will support the execution of marketing, sales enablement, and product strategy for an assigned product category. This role is highly collaborative and execution‑focused, and you will serve as a key connector between product management, sales teams, clinicians, and cross‑functional partners. This role is designed to develop future product and marketing leaders through hands‑on execution, field exposure, and close partnership with senior product management. Success in this role is driven by strong organizational skills, clear communication, analytical rigor, and a willingness to spend time in the field learning directly from clinicians and sales representatives. As an Associate Product Manager you play an integral role in coordinating events and education, maintaining and evolving sales tools, supporting financial planning through reporting and analysis, and translating customer insights into actionable inputs for product and marketing strategies. You will achieve success in this role through effective implementation in the following areas: Marketing Strategy, Reporting, & Financial Planning Sales Execution Support, Communication & Program Management Event Planning, Education & Program Management Field Engagement & Clinical Learning Market Research & New Product Development This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant business experience
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic team-based environment
  • Strong analytic and strategic thinking ability
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and manage a project from start to finish
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Experience utilizing AI-Based programs and tools

Responsibilities

  • Support global financial planning processes by preparing regular sales, revenue, and forecast reports for assigned product categories.
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and analysis to evaluate performance versus plan, identify trends, and surface risks or opportunities.
  • Partner with Senior Product Managers to support annual strategy planning, budgeting, and ongoing forecast updates.
  • Translate data into clear summaries and recommendations for leadership, sales and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine sales inquiries related to product positioning, competitive information, and available resources.
  • Develop, update, and maintain sales tools including presentations, product overviews, competitive matrices, FAQs, and clinical selling resources.
  • Ensure sales tools remain current, aligned with brand strategy, and easily accessible for global sales teams.
  • Proactively communicate product updates, launch information, and competitive insights to the sales organization in clear, actionable formats.
  • Lead coordination and execution of educational programs, workshops, and association‑related events supporting assigned product categories.
  • Manage logistics including agendas, contracts, speaker coordination, materials development, and on‑site execution in partnership with sales, clinical, and external stakeholders.
  • Support national, regional, and local conferences by assisting with booth management, presentations, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Track event outcomes and feedback to assess effectiveness and inform future programming.
  • Spend regular time in the field with sales representatives to observe customer interactions, understand workflow challenges, and gain hands‑on exposure to clinical environments (up to 25%).
  • Observe procedures, product usage, and clinician decision‑making to deepen understanding of customer needs and unmet opportunities.
  • Capture and synthesize field insights, sharing learnings with product management, marketing, and R&D teams.
  • Build foundational relationships with clinicians, sales partners, and key accounts under guidance of the Senior Product Manager.
  • Support Voice of Customer (VOC) activities including clinician interviews, surveys, and field observations.
  • Assist in documenting customer needs, usage scenarios, and feedback to inform business cases and development priorities.
  • Contribute to launch readiness activities by coordinating inputs for product positioning, training, sales materials, and internal communications.
