About The Position

The MIG Gun Division (Bernard / Tregaskiss) of ITW Welding is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team at Tregaskiss as an Associate Product Manager based onsite at our Windsor, Ontario facility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of industry-leading robotic welding and automation solutions used by manufacturers around the world. Working closely with Segment Management, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will support the development, positioning, and growth of our product portfolio while helping deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer and market needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) is required.
  • Must be available for up to 25% travel within the United States and Canada for customer visits, supplier meetings, and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (D365) software is a plus.
  • Basic welding knowledge would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage product updates, new product introductions, discontinuation, and pricing changes.
  • Assist in defining product specifications and application requirements with engineering teams to support the development of robotic welding and automation solutions.
  • Support the development and documentation of product launches, training materials, specification sheets, operator manuals, and learning management system (LMS) content.
  • Develop an understanding of the end-user’s business and their unmet needs.
  • Evaluate and report on product performance – sales volume, margins, and market share.
  • Function as a liaison with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and appropriate division personnel to communicate, train and deliver product solutions that maintain market leadership.
  • Represent brand category with internal team, channel partners and users through product knowledge, product support, training, tradeshows, and customer visits.
  • Support trade shows, distributor open houses/training, and other industry events.
  • Support the collection and synthesis of customer insights (VOC) and competitive intelligence through customer interviews, market research, and channel feedback.
