About The Position

The Associate Product Manager will execute on product initiatives that support all stages of the product life cycle, under the guidance of a Product Manager. This role involves supporting the alignment of demand and sales forecasts, collaborating with Engineering Service to facilitate New Item Requests (NIR) and Change Order (CCO) implementation, and assisting in the upkeep of the Product Information Management (PIM) system. The position also requires P&L support, including analyzing data to identify areas for margin improvement, supporting pricing recommendations, and providing monthly reports on product categories. Additionally, the Associate Product Manager will contribute to product strategy by supporting market and competitive research, participating in Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) activities, and assisting in new product launches. Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams is essential, as is assisting in process improvements and demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or applicable experience; degree or experience in Product Management or Product Development, Project Management, Data Analyst, Merchandising, or Business.
  • 0-2 years of experience; internship experience related to product management or product development preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data to identify opportunities and support recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong documentation accuracy, sound data analysis, and consistent adherence to process and timelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, ERP, CRM systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Understanding of financial principles and their application to product decisions.

Responsibilities
