About The Position
The Associate Product Manager owns an assigned product category from Uline’s catalog of business support products. The role supports new product development through research and sourcing, manages vendor relationships and negotiations, and works with Creative and Purchasing on catalog and digital strategies. The position also mentors Product Management Analysts and contributes to company profitability, product quality, and data accuracy. The role is based on-site at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and requires travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain, or Marketing.
- Availability to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
Responsibilities
- Own an assigned product category from Uline’s catalog of business support products.
- Research and source new products and vendors to support new product development.
- Visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay current on industry trends.
- Lead vendor negotiations and build successful vendor partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Creative and Purchasing teams to develop catalog and digital strategies.
- Contribute to company profitability, product quality, and data accuracy.
- Mentor and support Product Management Analysts.
