About The Position

Kasasa is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join their Product Team. This role focuses on optimizing existing Kasasa products and identifying opportunities for new product innovation to ensure client and consumer satisfaction. The Associate Product Manager will work closely with experienced Product Managers who will provide mentorship and coaching. The role offers exposure to Kasasa's financial technology solutions across checking, loan, and non-interest income products, covering their design, development, and market launch. The position requires cross-functional collaboration to address product gaps, achieve goals, and research new product opportunities, all while embodying Kasasa's core values (Interdependence, Empowered Ownership, Badassitude, and Love, collectively known as THE PATCH, with ELEVATE as an overarching reminder). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of work experience in a financial or technical role
  • Ability to analyze business or technical problems to guide software development
  • Proven history of quick-thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team and explain technical issues at an audience-appropriate level
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues at a high level
  • Interest in using automation, AI-assisted tools, and other emerging technologies to improve testing, analysis, documentation, and team efficiency, with the ability to judge results and use those tools responsibly
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Infuses the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.
  • Work with senior product managers to achieve annual in-market goals and business plans and work cross-functionally with internal teams to hit release dates.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear documentation, including use cases, process flows, requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and edge cases.
  • Assist in managing a product through the product development life cycle (e.g. product launches, including Sales readiness activities and post-launch efforts).
  • Execute hands-on functional, regression, exploratory, and user-acceptance testing under the guidance of Product and Engineering.
  • Participate in the leadership of cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement improvements.
  • Reproduce reported issues by following documented steps, testing relevant scenarios, and collecting useful evidence such as screenshots, timestamps, error messages, API request/response details, and other information needed to triage issues.
  • Validate defect fixes and completed features in appropriate environments, perform regression checks, and communicate results and risks during the release process.
  • Assist Product Owners in the process of breaking down requirements into Epics and User Stories, backlog management and prioritization of feature development.
  • Support Sales and Account Management with product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Work with client-facing teams to identify and execute opportunities that increase product penetration including the creation of presentations, case studies, website content, and white papers.
  • Research and analyze market trends, new technologies, and competitors to identify product gaps and identify opportunities.
  • Identify repetitive manual work that may be improved through automation and help document the desired workflows.
  • Serve as ‘product expert’ – respond to product and technical questions, including participation in sales and client calls/visits.
  • Provide general product support as needed, including ad-hoc research, documentation, testing, meeting prep, and follow-up tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
