About The Position

Radionix LLC is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Sensors to drive the successful deployment and value realization of the Radionix security sensors portfolio, with a focus on the North America region. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to build high-performing cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Operations) supporting New Product Introductions. The position will also have an external-facing role to build the value chain and foster profitable long-term industry relationships with key partners. The successful candidate will champion the product line to grow the business. Occasional travel will be required.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering required.
  • 0-3 years experience, preferably in the security products business, Internet of Things business or in a global product management capacity.
  • Experience owning product from concept through commercial release with emphasis on new product introduction in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience developing electronic products for the security industry – products and/or services.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications.
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols used to control sensors and devices (e.g., LoRaWAN, Z-Wave, ZigBee, proprietary subGHz, BLE) is preferred.
  • Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with wired sensor products including commonly used RS485-based control protocols.
  • Familiar with enterprise apps including Jira, Confluence, Centercode or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy for sensor business and maintain the sensors product family roadmap.
  • Communicate roadmap and drive strategy consensus with constituents within the business (Engineering, Operations, etc).
  • Monitor market research and maintain competitive analysis for top 3 competitors.
  • Create and maintain a product portfolio vision.
  • Champion communications to the business to effectively guide product lifecycle management.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of a competitive product catalogue (make and buy).
  • Establish product requirements and perform make versus buy analysis, as required.
  • Lead the product development process for prioritized sensors.
  • Drive and manage trade good products within the sensor portfolio.
  • Create industry relationships as required.
  • Monitor technical support tickets and operations quality as part of Product Management cadence.
  • Engage Sales, Marketing, Radionix channel partners and customers to obtain voice of customer (VOC).
  • Refine VOC into prioritized customer requirements and maintain a curated roadmap.
  • Achieve the financial and non-financial performance indicators.
