About The Position

This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The Application Expert will serve as a technical reference for internal teams and clients, providing knowledge of products and their applications. This role involves understanding clients' technological needs, carrying out - with supervision - the design of non-destructive testing systems and methods, leading project management, and coordinating the various tasks required to complete complex projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in client relations (training, support, negotiation).
  • Advanced level of English (both spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of project management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to resolve complex systemic problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of eddy currents, ultrasonics, and the non-destructive testing market (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of non-destructive testing systems and methods.
  • Design, under limited supervision, the development of applications and non-destructive test plans; analyze measurement and test data and write reports (internal and external).
  • Manage client projects under limited supervision.
  • Coordinate the various tasks required to complete straightforward projects, primarily within a single area of expertise (NDT/mechanics).
  • Manage the activities of a small project team.
  • Monitor technical progress, quality, and costs.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with the internal sales team and the applications manager.
  • Support the R&D team during the planning and execution of internal projects.
  • Support the development team during software releases, particularly with respect to functionality testing.
  • Provide technical support to the internal sales team for complex customer orders.
  • Support the sales team during client meetings regarding generic products and applications.
  • Support internal and external clients regarding generic products and applications for straightforward technical issues.
  • Support production during technical issues.
  • Deliver product training to clients.
