This role involves working directly with business and operational users to understand and translate functional requirements into technical solutions. The Associate, Product Management will design, architect, test, and implement intricate technical solutions for complex business problems, including large-scale backend infrastructure and APIs, utilizing object-oriented programming and design patterns concepts. The position requires writing high-quality, robust, readable, and scalable code following best practices, and then testing and deploying software into a production environment. Responsibilities also include providing production support and maintenance, implementing critical bug fixes, and assisting in diagnosing and resolving incidents. A key aspect of the role is communicating ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical users. The technology stack includes Java, Python, Spring, AngularJS, React, BPMNs, RESTful web services, Elastic Search, Graph and DB2 database, Slang (proprietary scripting language), Kubernetes, Kafka and AWS and industry tools integration API’s. The role also involves utilizing design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and FIGMA. Functioning as or with a Product Manager, the individual will gather requirements and create user experiences. Collaboration with Engineers will be necessary to determine if designs can be modified based on technical limitations, and tracking changes as part of the project management cycle. Presenting to technical and non-technical staff and communicating the rationale for design decisions is also required. The role includes developing technical product roadmaps and communicating them to stakeholders, leading user acceptance testing, and scoping test automation for engineers to write unit and regression tests using frameworks like Junit, Jasmine, or Cypress.
