Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a radio production, journalism, sports management field or equal relevant work experience
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in a production environment
  • Familiarity with Audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Zetta, Galaxy, VX Producer)
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automation and/or AI is a plus
  • Strong NASCAR knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Produce a radio show including technical aspects of playing music, running a board, communicating with hosts and co-producers.
  • Design and post social media posts.
  • Research guest ideas and coordinate guests in NASCAR.
  • Create detailed show reports for internal use and review.
  • Screen listener calls to ensure quality interactions on air.
  • Identify and pull top audio segments and guest interviews for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Archive completed shows in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Update PAD/PDT on-screen data to maintain accurate and timely program information.
  • Upload shows to the On-Demand platform and create content to go on the SiriusXM App.
  • Collaborate with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Production team to create sports radio programs centered on NASCAR.
  • Handle a checklist of technical duties.
  • Work with producers to generate content by brainstorming ideas, finding supporting audio, running an audio board, uploading content from partners and enhancing shows overall sound.
  • Pulling and cutting top audio segments and guest interviews for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Efficiently run an audio board with attention to detail.
