Associate Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our T-7A Red Hawk Supply Chain Team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- More than 1 year of experience negotiating directly with suppliers
Responsibilities
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
