Associate, Private Equity, Direct Investments Group (Summer 2027 Start)

Direct Investments Group The Direct Investment strategy is GIC’s platform for making large-scale private equity investments. The group focuses on sourcing and investing directly in companies, and invests both independently and alongside other private equity sponsors. Notable investments include Ancestry.com, Medline, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), PetSmart and Chewy.com, Refinitiv, and Altium.
Requirements
- Strong academic qualifications.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a top-tier investment bank or PE fund.
- Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in deal teams.
Responsibilities
- Support deal evaluation through building detailed financial models, conduct in-depth research on industries and markets, conduct financial and commercial due diligence and synthesizing results.
- Prepare investment presentations, memos and proposals, and presenting key findings to investment committee.
- Support GIC representatives at investee company board meetings and interacting with company management / investors on a regular basis.
- Contribute as a generalist, with specialization within 2-3 industries
