Associate Photographer - Milwaukee, WI
About The Position
CoStar Group’s Associate Photographer supports the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Matterport Pro3 camera, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, the photographer creates virtual tours, floorplans, and photographs of residential homes and apartments for marketing purposes. The role serves clients within an assigned territory and works with clients, sales associates, scheduling and dispatch teams, logistics, researcher partners, and management. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager in local markets. The photographer attends appointments on scheduled dates and times to scan homes and apartments, capture virtual tours and floorplans, and produce residential photography. Between residential appointments, the role also involves navigating one-mile square grids to identify commercial real estate inventory, missing availability, and properties that need to be photographed. The position requires independent field work, client communication, adherence to safety standards, and rotating weekend availability.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Real estate photography experience.
- Experience as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service experience and a client-first mindset.
- Drone photography experience and an FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately capture and enter data.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a driving record/driving abstract check before starting; driving history must reflect responsible driving and compliance with traffic laws.

- Navigate one-mile square grids to identify new commercial real estate inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to photograph.
- Follow CoStar safety standards to safeguard the company vehicle and equipment.

- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
