About The Position

The Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center performs duties related to filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other ancillary departments promptly and accurately. This role involves filling/dispensing oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire, Or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Inpatient experience.
  • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities
