About The Position

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Temporary Practice Permit.
  • Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Provisional License.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy technician program coursework/training (may be required in some states for technicians).
  • Inpatient experience.
  • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
