About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Powder Springs, Georgia. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach, learning about customers’ goals and connecting them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success depends on relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The role includes cash handling and teller-line activities, along with customer banking work such as opening accounts and providing ongoing account support. The employee must be able to work a schedule that includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the registration process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and meeting accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify ways to support customer needs.
Comfort with digital tools and technology, ability to learn new systems quickly, and confidence guiding customers in adopting relevant capabilities.

Support new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates and make seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, escalate concerns, and remediate issues as required.
