About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch. In this frontline role, the banker builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them to relevant banking products, services, and digital tools, while supporting account openings, service requests, and credit applications. The role works closely with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience and balances service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position supports branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. The work schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and background screening. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and ongoing screening may apply. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Candidates must comply with applicable risk and compliance requirements and policies.

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.

Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance policies and procedures, escalate and remediate issues, and make sound risk decisions.
