About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch in Hollywood, Florida. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The position supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It also involves cash handling and teller-line activities, accurate transaction processing, and compliance with operational and risk standards. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and meeting accuracy and service expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect customers with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service while exercising sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations, account openings, and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and remediate issues as required.
