About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Crystal, Minnesota. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools. The position supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to deliver a consistent customer experience. Success depends on relationship building, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The role supports everyday banking needs, including cash handling and teller-line transactions, and requires flexibility between cash handling and customer banking activities. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the employee’s start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The position is based at 5600 W Broadway Ave, Crystal, MN 55428. The stated base pay range is $25.00–$32.00; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. The posting end date is November 5, 2026, though the posting may come down earlier due to applicant volume.

Requirements

At least 6 months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support branch growth and customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including opening new accounts, handling service requests, and processing credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, and procedures; fulfill risk and compliance obligations; and escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
