About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch in Crystal, Minnesota. This frontline role builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with suitable banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and works with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It combines relationship building and service with branch growth, cash handling, teller activities, and compliance with operational and risk standards. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The work schedule includes Saturdays, and the employee will flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The listed base pay range is $25.00–$32.00; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support changing banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations.
Follow applicable risk and compliance requirements, escalate and remediate issues, and make sound risk decisions.
