About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships, understanding customers' financial needs, and connecting them with appropriate bank products, services, and digital solutions. The banker assists with basic account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and refers customers to other bankers or partners when appropriate. The position receives direction from managers and requires judgment within defined policies and procedures. This SAFE position involves customer contact and may include offering or negotiating terms or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions. Employment requires SAFE registration and compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, Regulation Z Loan Originator requirements, and related regulatory standards. The position also includes maintaining a cash drawer, handling and balancing cash, and completing service-related tasks as needed. Work schedules may include most Saturdays. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
Must obtain SAFE registration at the time of employment and meet applicable Loan Originator qualification and ongoing regulatory requirements.
Must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards.

Ability to support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Responsibilities
