About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the Hannover Woods posting location in Spring, Texas. This frontline role builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It balances customer service with growth, using relationship-building, sound judgment, and compliance with operational and risk controls. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The schedule includes Saturdays, and the role flexes between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet applicable LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards, and may be subject to credit-report review and ongoing screening. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies and standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations that support financial well-being and engagement.
Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support branch growth and customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, processing transactions accurately and in compliance with operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experiences and support banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, identify and escalate concerns, and support timely issue remediation.
