About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the Woods Crossing branch. This frontline role builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success requires relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance customer service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position flexes between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on strong service, account openings, and ongoing account support. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards for financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The position is based at the Woods Crossing branch, 2493 S Wildcat Way, Woods Crossing, UT 84010.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Ability to follow policies and regulations and identify and escalate risk concerns.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and meeting accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by phone, email, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to support customer needs.
Comfort with digital tools and technology, ability to learn new systems quickly, and ability to guide customers in adopting useful banking capabilities.
Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions, including referrals when additional expertise is needed.
Proven ability to collaborate with teammates and partners to resolve customer needs and deliver a seamless experience.

Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Handle cash and perform teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service while exercising sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, including account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable policies and procedures, fulfill risk and compliance obligations, and escalate and remediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
