Requirements

  • High school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent educational background.
  • Chemical, laboratory, technical, or related scientific background.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow procedures, protocols, and quality standards consistently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with automated systems and computer-based task management tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English-language documentation and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, laboratory training, or early-career experience in a technical environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fragrance, flavor, cosmetics, consumer goods, or laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, sample preparation, or laboratory best practices.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Weigh fragrance compounds accurately according to established formulas, procedures, and good manufacturing practices.
  • Prepare and process raw materials while ensuring proper barcode tracking, labeling, conditioning, and documentation.
  • Produce fragrance oil reference samples that serve as quality control standards for manufacturing.
  • Safely handle fragrance ingredients and chemical materials in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols.
  • Fill sample requests and prepare perfume submissions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete all required administrative and system-related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage raw material inventory, including shelf-life monitoring, replenishment requests, labeling, and contamination prevention.
  • Prepare fragrance oil applications for internal evaluation using appropriate laboratory techniques and best practices.
  • Support laboratory operations through equipment maintenance, housekeeping activities, and adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.
