About The Position

Mylan Technologies, Inc. (Viatris) is hiring an Associate Operator, Packaging for the 3rd shift. The role supports packaging and manufacturing operations by inspecting products and equipment, helping set up and operate production equipment, maintaining clean work areas, ensuring proper labeling and storage, documenting production activity, assisting with training, and performing instructed calibrations. The position requires a high school diploma, relevant mechanical and workplace skills, and the ability to meet the stated physical and sensory demands. Up to two years of experience is preferred, though a combination of experience and/or education will be considered. The salary range is $52,000.00–$57,500.00 USD, with a 20% shift differential for working 3rd shift. Requirements

High school diploma.
Possess good mechanical, communication, time-management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stoop, climb ladders or stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods.
Ability to wear a respirator.
Ability to hear an alarm.
Ability to identify small defects.
Ability to distinguish between colors.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect products during operation and observe equipment and processes to ensure proper operation; seek maintenance assistance for problems and recommend improvements.
Assist with setting up and running production equipment.
Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection as required, and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
Document material runs using Batch Production records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
Assist with training new personnel in manufacturing operations under the supervisor’s guidance.
Perform instructed calibration of scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, and other equipment.
