About The Position

This role supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care and contributes to infection prevention and control practices across the service. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to assist with staff leadership, practice improvement, rostering, and day-to-day operational activities. This position also involves providing guidance and support to less experienced staff while promoting best practice and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience as a Nurse and/or Midwife.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing and/or midwifery practice in line with professional standards.
  • Experience in leadership, staff supervision and supporting less experienced nurses and students.
