About The Position

This role involves providing advanced clinical care, leadership, and care coordination to support individuals in remaining safely within their communities and reducing avoidable hospital presentations. The Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, acute services, and community providers to facilitate timely discharges, support care planning, and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient flow, access to services, and health outcomes across the region.

Requirements

Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience supporting less experienced nursing staff.
