About The Position

The New Verticals team at DoorDash is focused on expanding beyond restaurant deliveries into areas like Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail. The Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team within New Verticals is responsible for onboarding merchants, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, and optimizing the logistics network. This role will involve identifying efficiencies, developing product toolings, and implementing operational processes at scale to drive impactful results across these new business lines. The Associate will own metrics, utilize operational and product strategies, and contribute to the growth of DoorDash's non-restaurant delivery services.

Requirements

Data-driven mindset, comfortable using Excel and visualizing data.
1-3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, banking, food & beverage, or high-growth startups.
Ability to solve problems from first principles and think innovatively.
Comfortable operating at both high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational execution.
Completed Bachelor's Degree.

SQL experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Lead the scoping, go-to-market, and iteration of product features to improve order quality across Convenience, Grocery, Alcohol, and Retail businesses.
Improve Dasher tooling & technology to enhance in-store efficiency.
Analyze data to drive business decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
Own and deliver on improving key metrics.
Create quarterly and annual plans aligned with product capabilities.
Identify opportunities for enhancing existing product offerings and delivery quality.
Lead cross-functional work streams with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Designers to develop product features that enhance delivery quality.
Own problems end-to-end and display ownership for products and business lines.
