About The Position

The New Verticals team is focused on expanding DoorDash beyond Restaurants to deliver anything customers want. The Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team onboards merchants, fulfills orders with speed and accuracy, and improves the logistics network through efficiency identification, product tooling, and operational process scaling. The Catalog pod specifically aims to improve merchant onboarding speed, quality, and accuracy using tools, technologies, and operational processes. Projects impact Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants. The Associate will focus on implementing new technologies to automate merchant onboarding processes. The role operates in a hybrid model, with quarterly in-person team gatherings and weekly office days in major hubs for local teams.

Requirements

Operate with attention to detail while also thinking long-term, experiencing the operation firsthand to inform strategy.
Be comfortable using AI tools to synthesize information, streamline workflows, and solve complex business problems.
Have experience working with data, building insights, and communicating recommendations through dashboards and visualizations.
Possess 1-3+ years of experience in high-performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups, or related experience).
Have a completed Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze data using AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve workflows, and drive data-informed decisions.
Build strategic initiatives impacting Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants, ranging from shopper rewards programs to dasher efficiency and merchant onboarding, involving both high-level strategy and operational details.
Collaborate internally to advocate for solutions that enhance user experience and secure resources from central partners for product or operations solutions that drive growth and reduce costs.
Lead cross-functional workstreams to develop operating playbooks for processes and guidelines for New Verticals-wide initiatives such as the Dasher Shop & Deliver platform, Shopper program, and Logistics network.
Strategize the approach for bringing local community offerings to consumers with perfect quality, speed, and accuracy, creating quarterly and annual plans aligned with product capabilities, and identifying opportunities for product enhancement and delivery quality improvement.
