About The Position

The New Verticals team is focused on expanding DoorDash beyond Restaurants to deliver anything customers want. The Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team works to onboard merchants, fulfill orders with speed and accuracy, and improve the logistics network. This role will involve identifying efficiencies, building product toolings, and launching operational processes at scale. The Catalog pod specifically focuses on improving merchant onboarding through tools, technologies, and operational processes, impacting Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants. The Associate will focus on implementing new technologies to automate merchant onboarding. This role operates in a hybrid model, with quarterly in-person team gatherings and optional office days in major hubs.

Requirements

  • Solve problems from first principles and think innovatively.
  • Willingness to operate at the lowest level of detail and think long-term.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to synthesize information, streamline workflows, and solve complex business problems.
  • Experience working with data, building insights, and communicating recommendations through dashboards and visualizations.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in high-performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups, or related experience).
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data using AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, improve workflows, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Build strategic initiatives impacting Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants, ranging from high-level strategy to operational details.
  • Collaborate with central partners to advocate for product or operations solutions that enhance user experience, unlock growth, and reduce costs.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams to develop operating playbooks for New Verticals initiatives.
  • Develop strategy for bringing local community offerings to consumers with quality, speed, and accuracy.
  • Create quarterly and annual plans aligned with product capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing existing product offerings and improving delivery quality.
