About The Position

The Associate Merchant supports category strategy and execution by facilitating supplier negotiations, and resolving supplier issues to ensure accurate product setup across channels. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute customer communication programs, optimize product assortments, and support promotional activities. Utilizing data analysis and market insights, the Associate Merchant contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and category performance evaluation. The position requires strong relationship management and administrative skills to drive operational excellence while aligning with organizational goals and maintaining compliance with company policies and ethical standards. The Computer Accessories team focuses on delivering personalized workspace and PC gaming solutions by curating and expanding assortments in desktop and gaming accessories, as well as power products. The team collaborates closely with merchandising, eCommerce, product development, and suppliers to provide innovative, trend-aligned products that enhance productivity and everyday experiences. By leveraging strong vendor relationships, data analysis, and category strategy, the team ensures customer-centric solutions are available both in stores and online, supporting Walmart’s commitment to quality and value.

Requirements
