About The Position

The Associate Merchandiser for the Miles Hard Goods Division supports customer relationships and the execution of orders from placement through delivery. The role involves coordinating with customers and cross-functional and overseas teams, maintaining accurate order and production records, and supporting product, packaging, pricing, tender, and sample processes. The Associate Merchandiser helps ensure timely delivery in accordance with quality and compliance standards and provides consistent customer service and follow-up.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, sales support, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 1–3 times per year, as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day merchandising operations, including order entry, tracking, and communication with customers and overseas teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of purchase orders, production schedules, and customer requirements.
• Partner with the Miles team to ensure orders are delivered on time and meet quality and compliance standards.
• Manage artwork timelines and coordinate commercial packaging requirements with overseas offices and customers.
• Assist in preparing product specifications and pricing forms, and support the tender process.
• Coordinate the distribution, approval, and tracking of product samples between factories and customers.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain client relationships through clear communication and follow-up.
