About The Position

The Associate Merchandiser for the Miles Hard Goods Division supports customer relationships and helps ensure orders are executed seamlessly from placement through delivery. The role involves coordinating merchandising operations, tracking order and production details, working with customers and overseas teams, and collaborating across functions to deliver strong service and execution. The position also supports product development and tender activities, sample coordination, packaging requirements, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, sales support, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 1–3 times per year as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day merchandising operations, including order entry, order tracking, and communication with customers and overseas teams.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of purchase orders, production schedules, and customer requirements.
• Partner with the Miles team to help ensure orders are delivered on time and meet quality and compliance standards.
• Manage artwork timelines and coordinate commercial packaging requirements with overseas offices and customers.
• Assist with preparing product specifications and pricing forms, and support the tender process.
• Coordinate distribution, approval, and tracking of product samples between factories and customers.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain client relationships through clear communication and follow-up.
