About The Position

Associate Material Handler Full-time | Logistics | Location – Olathe, KS, 66062 | Sign On Bonus: $1,500 2nd Shift: 1:00pm- 9:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm (Monday- Friday) 3rd Shift: 9:00pm-7:30am (Monday - Thursday) Perform and complete basic material handling essential functions with a focus on understanding and meeting productivity and accuracy goals. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES You’ll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve: • Reading pick tickets and work orders and picks parts according to quantities listed on pick ticket • Visually identifies parts in location per description and part number, places product in totes, places label on totes for next destination • Reports insufficient quantities in location or equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to management • Completes basic dunnage functions Physical Demands: You must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role requires frequent standing and walking, repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead. Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds. HOW TO SUCCEED We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems.
