About The Position

The US market represents Greenstone Meats' highest growth opportunity, driven by the expansion of the grass-fed beef category and a premium brand portfolio in its early stages of consumer demand building. This role is crucial as it establishes the first dedicated marketing resource for the US market, aiming to bring the Greenstone Meats brand to life by building consumer demand, executing innovation launches, developing sales tools for retail and foodservice, and translating market intelligence into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate is adept at brand campaign development and implementation, innovation timeline management, and consumer insight analysis, with a strong understanding of the US retail landscape and a passion for consumers, thriving in a lean, fast-paced commercial environment.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of brand-side CPG marketing experience within food, protein, or a related consumer goods industry.
  • Experience on the brand side of marketing, understanding brand building, positioning, and activation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing packaging development, marketing materials, and agency relationships independently.
  • Familiarity with the US retail landscape, including key accounts, channel dynamics, and marketing's role in buyer conversations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Comfortable with design coordination and digital asset management.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with syndicated data tools such as Circana.
  • Exposure to foodservice marketing or sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing calendar for owned brands, ensuring timely planning, briefing, and delivery of all brand activations.
  • Develop consumer-facing marketing content across digital, in-store, foodservice, and trade channels in collaboration with agencies and the Marketing Director.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships for US market activations, including briefing, feedback, timelines, and delivery.
  • Ensure US market brand execution is consistent with established brand positioning and visual identity.
  • Monitor US market trends and competitive activity, proactively sharing relevant observations.
  • Support the commercialization of new products for the US market.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Packaging Development phase, including briefing design partners, managing revision cycles, coordinating reviews, and ensuring production-ready files.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure successful new product market entry with appropriate tools and support.
  • Track innovation performance post-launch and integrate learnings into the product pipeline.
  • Develop marketing inputs for US customer conversations, such as brand sell sheets, promotional mechanics, and product-specific content for the Sales team.
  • Partner with the Commercial Strategy Manager to ensure customer-facing tools are data-driven.
  • Support the development of marketing materials for US foodservice customers, including operator-facing content and channel-specific tools.
  • Manage all US POS materials and marketing collateral, ensuring they are current and on-brand.
  • Support digital shelf content management and retailer media coordination for key US accounts.
  • Develop familiarity with data ecosystems (e.g., Circana, Numerator) and interpret relevant US market data.
  • Apply consumer and shopper research to US brand and campaign decisions.
  • Partner with the Commercial Strategy Manager on US consumer insights initiatives.
  • Bring a consumer-first perspective to innovation and campaign discussions.
  • Track US marketing spend against budget, manage vendor payments, flag variances, and maintain accurate spend records.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Communicate progress and flag risks proactively.
