About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager, Marketing Operations - Spine to join their Spine Global Growth Marketing (GGM) Department. This role will support operational processes for commercial execution within the Spine portfolio. The position involves collaboration with various teams including Sales, Product Management, Hospital Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, and downstream marketing to manage funnel governance, monitor demand signals, execute business processes, troubleshoot operations, prepare for launches, and coordinate cross-functionally. The company emphasizes innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, aiming to develop smarter, less invasive, and more personalized treatments in Orthopaedics. The company is also undergoing a planned separation of its Orthopaedics business to form a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, which is anticipated to be completed within 18-24 months. Employees in this role would transition to DePuy Synthes upon completion of the transaction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required.
  • Candidate should possess 2-5 years of progressive business experience in Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, Commercial Excellence, Healthcare, or related business functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Healthcare, medical device, orthopedics, spine, or related industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, reporting platforms, or related business systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support funnel management activities including opportunity tracking, data quality monitoring, and business process execution.
  • Assist with demand signal monitoring through identification of ordering anomalies, data inconsistencies, and operational trends.
  • Support maintenance and validation of product information across commercial systems, pricing resources, product documentation, and field-facing tools to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Investigate and support resolution of product visibility, ordering, and commercial process issues impacting field execution.
  • Perform initial triage and analysis of operational issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate cross-functional partners.
  • Maintain operational dashboards, reports, trackers, and business support tools that provide visibility to organizational performance.
  • Support launch readiness activities, portfolio transitions, and commercialization processes across the Spine portfolio.
  • Provide operational support to field sales teams regarding product identification, ordering processes, and commercial workflow questions.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, and operational best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Hospital Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial Excellence teams to facilitate issue resolution and improve business execution.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness across the Spine business.
