About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This role involves analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for part fabrication and assembly, conducting assessments of manufacturing processes, and creating manufacturing bill of materials and schedules to determine lead times. The analyst will provide feedback on results, collaborate with organizations to develop plans, and mitigate issues to meet customer commitments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications as they apply to fabrication
- 3+ years of experience with composite and metal bond parts/assembly/installation design, fabrication, and product support
Nice To Haves
- (Bachelors preferred) and/or manufacturing experience in metallic part Fabrication, Assembly, Planning and procurement
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and interprets engineering drawings & specifications, (Boeing Preferred) for part fabrication & assembly
- Conducts assessments of manufacturing processes, creating manufacturing bill of materials and schedules to formulate lead times
- Provides feedback on results while working with organizations to develop plans and to accomplish goals in meeting customer commitment
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to mitigate issues (held for conditions) and implement work recover schedule
