Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, labor management, and guest service standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Handler and/or Alcohol Service Certification, as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Support opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health department regulations, food safety standards, and liquor laws.
  • Help maintain proper staffing levels and floor coverage.
  • Supervise, coach, and support hourly team members.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance coaching.
  • Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Support employee engagement, morale, and retention efforts.
  • Ensure exceptional hospitality and prompt resolution of guest concerns.
  • Address guest complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Support execution of service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist in managing labor costs, scheduling, and productivity.
  • Support inventory controls, ordering, and cost management.
  • Help monitor cash handling procedures, deposits, and POS compliance.
  • Support achievement of sales, profitability, and operational goals.
  • Enforce sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, and risk management practices.
  • Support incident reporting and corrective action procedures as needed.
