About The Position
AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring! We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our production operations. In this role you will be part of our team that focuses on the preparation and assembly of various raw material. All A-Team members are cross trained inside and outside their main department. Leadership opportunities are widely available.
Requirements
- Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily operations, demonstrating strength and endurance in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of how to use various power tools is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of how to read and interpret blueprint drawings is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain drill presses, miter saws, table saws, and other essential machinery to meet production needs.
- Perform material cutting to precise width and length specifications, including specialized modifications as needed.
- Assist in the assembly and production of high-quality products, adhering to company standards and timelines.
- Collaborate with the team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Assist to help streamline inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting while gaining exposure to supply chain operations and material forecasting.
