Job Summary The Associate Manager Spurs & Franchise Ticket Operations is responsible for leading ticket operations strategy, administration, and execution for assigned Spurs Sports & Entertainment franchise properties, with primary ownership of Austin Spurs ticket operations and operational support for the San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio FC. This role exercises independent judgment in managing ticketing systems, event builds, pricing and inventory controls, operational workflows, and cross-functional ticketing initiatives. The Associate Manager evaluates sales performance, inventory trends, market activity, and operational needs to make pricing, inventory, and process recommendations and to implement approved operational adjustments that support revenue goals, event readiness, and fan experiences The position serves as a key business operations partner to Ticket Sales, Group Sales, Membership Services, Marketing, Finance, Venue Operations, and other internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for identifying operational risks, resolving ticketing issues, improving ticketing processes, and ensuring accurate and efficient execution across assigned events and properties. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented professional with strong ticketing operations expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (4) years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry or a related field.
  • Experience supporting live event ticket office operations preferred.
  • Experience training or guiding part-time or event staff preferred
  • Experience working across multiple sports or entertainment properties preferred.
  • Experience using Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, or similar ticketing systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information professionally.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ticket operations for assigned franchise properties, including primary day-to-day ownership of Austin Spurs ticket operations and operational support for the San Antonio Spurs and San Antonio FC.
  • Manage ticketing system administration and operational controls, including event builds, ticket products, price codes, inventory, seating manifests, ticket holds, access controls, and quality assurance processes to ensure operational accuracy and business continuity.
  • Evaluate sales performance, inventory levels, market activity, and event-specific demand trends to identify pricing, inventory, and operational opportunities; make recommendations to department leadership and independently implement approved adjustments.
  • Serve as the primary ticket operations business partner for Group Sales, advising on ticketing feasibility, promotional ticket offers, pricing and inventory considerations, operational timelines, and execution requirements.
  • Develop and improve ticket operations workflows, quality control practices, and internal processes to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support consistent execution across franchise properties.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Ticket Sales, Membership Services, Marketing, Finance, Venue Operations, and other departments to align ticketing execution with business needs, resolve complex operational issues, and support successful event outcomes.
  • Provide operational leadership during events, including issue escalation, decision-making support, ticketing troubleshooting, and coordination with internal partners to ensure readiness and timely resolution of ticketing matters.
  • Analyze recurring ticketing issues, process gaps, and operational trends and recommend solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, revenue support, and fan experience.
  • Guide, train, or provide direction to part-time, event, or support staff as needed related to ticketing processes, event readiness, system usage, and operational standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
