Associate Manager, Sales Operations

About The Position

The Sales Operations Associate Manager is part of IMAX’s global Sales and Corporate Development organization with a focus on operational excellence, effective sales enablement, and strong cross-functional partnership. This role drives operational and analytical projects and initiatives that improve sales processes, tools, and communication to enable IMAX’s global revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Business, Operations, Project Management or related field preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or business and strategic planning.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally with global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage sales processes and workflows.
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel and learning new systems and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or interest in Generative AI tools for template building, data analysis or process optimization.
  • Second language proficiency in a European or Asian language is valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize deals system management to track global sales pipeline and deals signing.
  • Manage global sales shared drive, documentation, and prepare recurring sales reports (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly).
  • Assist in tracking sales expenses and compiling quarterly overviews.
  • Help prepare monthly performance summaries and analysis of sales and operational metrics for financial planning.
  • Assist in creating and updating global sales presentations and materials.
  • Work with regional Sales leaders to gather pipeline insights, prepare market and client specific insights, and answer inbound inquiries.
  • Support compilation of marketing asset lists and sales recap summaries.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Installations, and Marketing to enable sales growth.
  • Partner with Events team to support sales events planning and logistics coordination.
  • Conduct market research to support sales data analysis and strategy building.
  • Analyze internal data to support management briefing and memo writing.
  • Leverage Gen AI tools to compile and present insights that enable business growth or improve process efficiency.
